Teacher Project Archaeology Workshop

During the Archaeology Field School, a Project Archaeology, Investigating Shelter Workshop will be held for area teachers. Project Archaeology uses archaeological inquiry to foster understanding of past and present cultures; improve social studies and science education; and enhance citizenship education to help preserve our archaeological legacy. The two and half day workshop, aimed at upper elementary teachers, will provide participants with the opportunity to participate in the ongoing excavation at 13LN606 and receive materials pertinent to their school curriculum. Professional development credit is being arranged through Grant Wood AEA.  Fee to be announced.
