Spring Bird Banding

Event Summary

May is migration time, and a wonderful time to discover not only which birds pass through our area, but also who may be staying here to nest this summer.  Licensed bird bander Rob Bradley and other local experts will introduce you to the techniques of bird banding. Drop in any time and stay as long as you’d like to have the opportunity to see your favorite birds up close. You are also welcome to join us from 12:30-1:15p.m. for a bird banding talk in the classroom. Free. No pre-registration needed.
