Event Summary

Most of these trails were recorded before substantial Euro-American settlement. Are they the forgotten remnants of Indian trails?  Bill Whittaker, with Office of the State Archaeologist will discuss how archaeology can help answer the riddle of Iowa’s first road network.  There just might be an update about the recent digs in the Iowa City area.
