This is the story of what one Iowa DNR Fisheries Biologist
did to celebrate the milestone of turning fifty years old:
catching fifty different fish species during his birthday year.
Scott Gritters is a Mississippi River Biologist at Bellevue,
Iowa. Scott will take a humorous look at getting “old” and
discuss various adventures during the quest. Scott will also
allow DNR fisheries questions you may have on and off the
