Willow Garden Tower Building

Event Summary

Willow towers add dimension and rustic beauty to a garden as well as space-saving support for plants. They are lovely as trellises for your flowering vines, cucumbers, pole beans and squash. Create your own tower with some basic basket weaves. No experience is necessary but the process requires decent hand and arm strength and the ability to kneel and sit on the ground. You will gather your own willow on site. The rough finished dimension is 7 to 10 feet tall or smaller if you choose. The base is about 32 inches wide and tapers up to the top. Join Cedar Rapids willow artist Mary Kopecky for a fun day of creating with willow. Cost is $50.
