Location
Located along the Great River Road (County Road X61) in Louisa County, this area is only 3-miles from the city of Wapello, Iowa. Port Louisa National Wildlife Refuge is just a couple miles North of the entrance to the park, also on the Great River Road. There is a rather winding and steep, gravel road from the paved road on top of the bluff, to the campsites at the bottom, right on the shore of the beautiful Odessa Complex.

Hours
Campgrounds remain open year-round.Park hours are daily from 6:30 am - 10:30 pm, unless camping.Refunds will not be given for cancellations. If a cancellation must be made by Louisa County Conservation in case of severe weather, flood, etc. a “rain check" may be issued. The rain check must be used within twelve months of the issue date.
Closed
There is no winter maintenance on the road down to Snively.
