Step into the excitement of the thrilling Shadows and Scents Survival Camp, where adventure awaits under the stars! This overnight camp will immerse you in the wonders of the Iowa wilderness. Discover the secrets of nocturnal animals like skunks and bobcats as you embark on a night hike, learning to identify their scents and tracks. Get hands-on experience smelling trapping lures and and creating your own “fake frog eggs.” As the sun sets, gather around the campfire for some delicious dutch oven cooking and play fun games that will bring out your inner explorer. With exciting adventures and new friendships waiting, don’t miss the chance to experience a magical night in nature!

Participants are expected to bring their own sleeping bag or pillow/blanket and two changes of clothing. 

Boys will be camping in the OAK yurt cabin with male chaperones.

Special Regulations

Due to the overnight nature of the camp, behavioral and emotional challenges may arise. I understand that myself or a designated contact must be available during the camp hours in case my child(ren) need to be picked up early due to behavioral or emotional challenges.
