Meet naturalist Emily Herring at the Forest Reserve parking lot to explore the Iowa River. We will walk sandbars and low river areas and look for natural artifacts, including shells, rocks, teeth, bones, and rocks, as we learn about the creatures that inhabit the Iowa River and its history. Please wear shoes and clothes that can get muddy and wet. Also, this program will require the river levels to remain low. Once registered, we will keep you informed of any program changes or cancellations.
