Star Gazing/Potluck

Event Summary

The Amateur Astronomers of Central Iowa will be having a Solar Picnic for their June meeting.  It gets dark late in the summer time, so for the June meeting they are planning  a potluck picnic.  Everyone brings something to share for their picnic.  Before and after the meal, they will set up their solar scopes with special filters so everyone can look through their scopes and see any solar flares that are visible.
