Monarchs and Milkweed

Event Summary

Bring your family and friends to this FREE program highlighting pollinators of Iowa and the amazing monarch butterfly. The event will begin with a presentation by Naturalist Emily Herring about insects of Iowa, followed by family crafts, monarch tagging, cookies and more.  This year’s event will all take place at the Grimes Farm Shelter House.  Each family will receive a milkweed plant (as long as supplies last) to plant in your garden.
