Prairie Heritage Day

Event Summary

Head out to the Grimes Farm to celebrate Oktemberfest and participate in pioneer crafts and skills. Activities include: candle dipping, rope making, crosscut sawing, barn building, blacksmithing, broommaking and many more. Enjoy apple cider, Dutch oven treats, and fry bread. Entertainment will include the Prairie Creek String Band and Cornflake Cloggers. Beekman’s Homemade Ice Cream will be joining us this year! Come join the family fun!  Admission to the event is FREE! Food vendors will be selling kettle corn and homemade ice cream. We will also have maple syrup available to purchase.
