Tallgrass Prairie Exhibit


Event Summary

The Marshall Count Conservation Board will be hosting the exhibit, Tallgrass Prairie: Past, Present and Future at the GrimesFarm & Conservation Center from July 21 through September 11 with a special Open House and Prairie Hike on July 21.  Hands-on displays and interactive components will engage visitors in learning about the prairie landscape and native plant species.

While visiting the exhibit, pick up your Prairie Passport to start your fun and adventurous journey of the Marshall County prairies.   Or download the prairie passport from: http://www.co.marshall.ia.us/departments/conservation/events/prairie-exhibit .  All completed passports will be entered in a random drawing for a prize!

The Conservation Center is open Monday thru Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
