Event Summary

Activity: Take a walk to the observation tower.  Met at the Grimes Farm shelter by the parking lot.

The Iowa DNR invites you to Healthy & Happy Outdoors (H2O). Get connected to Iowa outdoor destinations and recreational activities for a healthier life! H2O supports the Governor’s Healthiest State Initiative, helping Iowans improve mental and physical health through outdoor recreation. All of the MCCB parks are included in the H2O program!

Here’s How It Works: After you register in H2O, you can record your outdoor activities in Iowa parks and recreational areas. Each recorded activity counts as an entry into a prize drawing for outdoor gear. The more outdoor activities you participate in, the more chances you have to win. The first drawing will occur at the Iowa State Fair in August 2013.
