Registration Fee: FREE Deadline: September 14 by 4:00 p.m.

Join naturalist Emily Herring for a walk and picnic in Marietta Sand Prairie. The prairie is full of life as asters, goldenrod, and sunflowers bloom in the late summer months, attracting a large variety of insects and birds to the prairie. We will identify plants and the creatures that we find, tag migrating monarchs and enjoy the beauty of the prairie. Participants are encouraged to bring a sack lunch and blanket to enjoy a picnic after the hike.
