Woodcock Walk

Event Summary

Join MCCB Director Mike Stegmann in an attempt to find and view American Woodcock males performing their courtship flight. Also known as Timberdoodles, these shorebirds are frequently found in upland and forested areas. Please meet in the main parking lot on Knapp Avenue for a short walk into the prairie. Bring a folding chair to sit and watch.
