Rental Cabins at Pony Creek Park
Whether you're looking for a quick getaway or a place to call home while you explore the Loess Hills of western Iowa, Mills County Conservation Board has two rental cabins for you and your family! Located at Pony Creek Park near Glenwood, Iowa, the cabins will sleep up to 10 people. The cabins have a kitchen and restrooms. No smoking in cabins; no pets allowed in or around cabins. What Do I Need to Bring?
CabinRental Agreement
By your agreement with these terms and conditions, yourepresent that you are 21 years or older and that you are authorized to makethe reservation on behalf of the group you have listed. You further agree to assume fullresponsibility for the acts, negligence, or omissions of the members of yourgroup while utilizing said facilities.
Additionally, you agree that you have read andunderstand the CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICIES concerning this reservation andhave also read and understand the FACILITY CONTRACT information.
You are reserving a facility in a Mills CountyConservation Board park. ALL COUNTY PARK RULES AND STATE LAWS AREENFORCED. Contact the Park Office listedon your reservation confirmation email if you have any questions about parkrules, policies, or special requests. Mills County Conservation Board reserves the right of management staffto enter cabin in an emergency, to inspect, and/or replenish supplies.
Failure to clean up the facility or surrounding areaas outlined, or failure to comply with park rules or state laws may result inenforcement action. Mills CountyConservation Board may take any legal action necessary to recover damages tocounty property.
CHECK-IN TIME: After 4:00 PM on day of arrival
CHECK-OUT TIME: Before NOON on day of departure.
CLEAN-UP
You are required to clean up the facility and groundsand return them to the condition you received them. Plan to have your facility cleaned and peopledeparted prior to the scheduled NOON checkout time.
VISTORS
All visitors (other than registered overnight campers)must depart the park by 10:30 PM.
SMOKING
Mills County is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is prohibited in all buildings.
PARKING
Parking is confined to designated parking areas. If you anticipate more vehicles than spacesprovided, please contact the Park Office in advance. No parking or driving off roadways.
DIRECTIONAL SIGNS AND DECORATIONS
Temporary, free standing directional signs are allowed– not to be attached to park furniture, signposts, or other facilities. Decorations are allowed as long as they arefree standing or not affixed in a manner that would damage a facility or anypainted walls (tape, tacks and staples can cause damage to walls. The use of a no-stick adhesive isrecommended). Special care should betaken with balloons so that they do not “escape”.
REFUSE
Mills County Parks observe a “Carry In – Carry Out”refuse policy. However, a limited amountof refuse will be removed by park staff in conjunction with yourreservation. All refuse must be placedin the containers provided. You willneed to remove any refuse in excess of the capacity of these containers.
PETS
Pets are prohibited in and around cabins.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to cancel a reservation, you will forfeit100% of all reservation fees paid. Allcancellations must be made by calling the Mills County Conservation Boardoffice at (712) 527-9685.
REFUND POLICY
All reservations with Mills County Conservation Boardfacilities are final. Reservations arenon-refundable, unless the following situations occur:Please understand at thetime of booking your reservation that you immediately prohibit other peoplefrom reserving and utilizing that facility - they therefore go elsewhereto locate a facility for that date. We will observe aNON-REFUNDABLE RESERVATION policy with the following exceptions:·
