Picnics in the Park

Event Summary

We will be digging into the fun world of DINOSAURS! We will read the book "T is for Terrible" and learn about carnivores, omnivores, and herbivores, dig up some dinosaur clues, and talk T-Rex! Please be aware that the BRIDGE IS CURRENTLY UNDERGOING REPAIRS in Mitchell. Please enter town from the River Road or from the north on Commercial Street. Families with children going into Kindergarten and younger are invited to enjoy nature through Picnics in the Park! Join MCCB Naturalist Chelsea Rowcliffe and summer Naturalist Intern Bailey Dohlman on WEDNESDAYS in JUNE for a fun nature-based program. Picnickers are asked to bring a picnic lunch, blanket, and have an adult present throughout the program. Please meet us at the specified park where we will eat lunch and have a short program and activity based on a nature-themed book. This program is FREE and there is no registration required.
