Wild Edibles - Summer Edition

Event Summary

Space is limited to the first 30 adults so please CALL AHEAD to register. Cost is only $10 per adult, and $5 if you are an Environmental Education Foundation member. Children are welcome to attend the class for free with an parent or guardian. This is a HANDS ON class, so come ready to help dig, cut, cook, and most importantly EAT! We will learn proper identification skills, take a leisurely hike around the nature trails to collect edibles, prepare and cook of the foods we collect, and taste the bounty of summer! Please bring a water bottle, notebook and/or camera for taking notes and wear weather appropriate clothing and shoes. We will be outside as much as possible. There is no running water or flush toilets at this site. Chelsea will have recipes and notes to share.
