  • I have read the Cabin Rental Policy and agree to abide by the Muscatine County Conservation Board Cabin Rules and Regulations set forth by the Muscatine County Conservation Board, to clean the cabin before leaving, and to pay for any damages that occur during this rental period.

Rental Contract Agreement

1. Cabins are designed for the maximum capacity established by the Conservation Board. No parties, reunions, weddings, or large gatherings are allowed.
2. A minimum of two consecutive night’s rental is required. There is a maximum stay of two weeks in a 30-day period.
3. Reservations may be made up to a year in advance.
4. In addition to the non-refundable rental fee, a refundable damage deposit is required.
5. The cabin is a strictly enforced NO SMOKING facility in accordance with State Law.
6. No pets allowed inside or outside the cabin.
7. Kegs are not allowed in or around the cabin areas.
8. No subletting of cabin permitted.
9. No one under 21 years of age is allowed to rent the cabins. An adult, (at least 21 years of age,) must be present during the rental period.1
0. No tents or campers allowed in the cabin area.
11. Parking allowed in designated parking areas only, no roadside or off roadway parking.
12. Cabin furniture must remain inside the cabin.
13. No candles are allowed in cabin or on the deck.
14. No burning of pallets and construction materials containing nails, screws or staples is allowed in the fire rings.
15. Check-in time is no earlier than 4:00 pm.
16. Check-out time is no later than 11:00 am on the last day of your reservation.
17. Failure to follow the cleanup guidelines, loss of inventory, or damages to property will result in forfeiture of all or part of the deposit and may result in additional charges.
18. There are NO REFUNDS for cancellations. Requests for consideration in the case of emergencies must be made in writing to the Conservation Board.
19. Renters and visitors must comply with the park hours of 6:00 am-10:30 pm. Renters must be in the cabin area between 10:30 pm and 6:00 am. Visitors must be out of the park no later than 10:30 pm. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm-6:00 am.
20. No swimming or wading is allowed at the cabin area. Swimming is only allowed at the designated beach.
21. All other Muscatine County Conservation Board park rules apply. Violation of any park rules or regulations may result in fines, use privileges being rescinded, and forfeiture of rental and/or deposit fees.
22. Muscatine County Conservation Board reserves the right of staff to enter cabin in an emergency, to inspect, and/or replenish supplies.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your reservation, you must contact us 15 days in advance of your rental date. Failure to do so will result in 100% forfeiture of your reservation, and you will not be able to reschedule.

Refund Policy

NO REFUND - Please understand that at the time of booking your reservation, you immediately prohibit other people from reserving and utilizing this facility.

If you contact us at least 15-days prior to your stay, a promotional code will be issued to use for a future online reservation. You will have one year (12 months) to reschedule using the promotional code issued.

Cabin 2 overlooks Lake Patricia and is one of four modern cabins located in Deep Lakes Park. It is the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend or week. Activities in the area include fishing, canoeing/kayaking, hiking, biking, and swimming.

  •  Sleeps up to eight. One bedroom with queen bed; one bedroom with queen bed and twin-over-twin bunk bed and queen sofa sleeper   in living room
  •  Modern bathroom with shower
  •  Kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and island with two chairs 
  •  Living room with fireplace, sofa, two recliners and TV
  •  Dining table with eight chairs
  •  Heat, air conditioning, ceiling fans
  •  Covered deck w/two chairs
  •  Picnic table and fire ring
  •  Parking for 3 vehicles
  •  ADA accessible
