Event Summary

The Bison Stampede 5K Trail Run will be run on the trails around the Prairie Heritage Center an on adjacent property. Be prepared for uneven surfaces. Participation in this event is at "your own risk". After the race go for a cool down on the Storybook Walk.

  • Registration for the race will take place at the Prairie Heritage Center from 6:30 a.m. until 7:15 a.m. Pre-registration is encouraged.
  • Awards will be given to the first place finisher in each age group (13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-50, and 60+)
  • T-shirts will be given to every participant. T-shirts are donated by the Little Sioux Valley Conservation Association. 

The Bison Stampede is hosted by the O'Brien County Conservation Board and Little Sioux Valley Conservation Association.
