The O’Brien County Conservation Board Will Be Hosting Their 2nd Biennial Big Buck Event

Event Summary

The O’Brien County Conservation Board will be hosting their 2nd Biennial Big Buck Event on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Prairie Heritage Center, 4931 Yellow Avenue, Peterson, Iowa 51047.

The 2nd Biennial Big Buck Event is a free event and will be open from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. for all ages to stop by this great event.  View mounts and racks brought in by area participants, enjoy seminars on such topics as Antler Scoring, Iowa Deer Population Issues, and Special Youth Challenge Events, and participate in contests, raffles, and games throughout the day.

The O’Brien County Pheasants Forever Club will have lunch available on Saturday for a fee and the O’Brien County Conservation Board is working on designing a GREAT T-Shirt to celebrate this event.

On Friday, March 8, 2013 from 9:30 A.M. to 6:30 P.M. you will have the opportunity to have your deer mounts and racks scored on a first come, first serve basis.  Scoring will not be offered at this year’s Saturday event.
