Winter Bird Count

Event Summary

Meet at the Prairie Heritage Center at 10:00 a.m. The morning will be spent carpooling  to local birding "hot spots".  On the wish list is the Townsends, Solitaire, Bohemian Waxwing, and the Golden Eagle.

Bring a sack lunch, if you choose.  After a brief rest at the Prairie Heritage Center, a caravan will follow the Midwinter Bald Eagle survey route to collect data on Bald Eagles using the Little Sioux Valley River as their winter home
