Gappa's Point

Discover Gappa's Point in Emmetsburg

Along the east shore of Five Island Lake is Gappa’s Point. This area was donated by the Gappa family in 2017 for use as a day park.  Wader fisherman enjoy throwing twisters in spring since a long sandbar is located off the point of Gappa’s Point.  Others enjoy the beautiful views with the sounds of running water from the spillway close by.
