Visit the Lost Island Prairie Wetland Nature Center located north of Ruthven, Iowa.  Found in the middle of Iowa's natural lakes region, the Center is located in Lost Island Huston Park.  The regional facility serves as a site for public information, educational programs, and interpretive displays.  Highlights include a wetland diorama, raptor and watershed displays, indoor bee hive, fish aquarium, classroom and gift shop.  Lost Island-Huston Park provides hiking trails, a wildlife observation blind, a campground, picnic shelters, boat ramp, dock and a swimming beach.
