Nature Night Out - Winter Solstice

Event Summary

There comes a time in every year where the day is overpowered by the night. December 21st at 6:30pm, join AmeriCorps Naturalist     Madalyn Hewitt, at Hillview park for a celebration of global solstice traditions.   Learn about the stars, planets & seasonal constellations of our Iowa night sky. Hear the old tales, and share in the traditions celebrated around the world for the forth coming winter! Bring chairs, blankets, dress warm, we will be outdoors. There will be a warming fire near by, snacks & warm drinks to enjoy.
