Meredith Park


Meredith Park, also known as Plover Pit, is a popular place for fishing, swimming, picnicking, and camping. Special features include an excellent 5 l/2 acre natural lake, a new playground created from 15,000 recycled milk jugs, and a sleeping cabin added in 2007.

Location

Meredith Park is located 1 1/2 miles north of Plover on N57 in north central Pocahontas County.

Operating Hours & Seasons

The park is open from mid May to October 15 (weather pending) - Please call ahead to check for open and closing dates.

Park closes at 10:30 PM. 



Closures

The sleeping cabin at Meredith Park is closed for the season due to flood damage.
