Youth Waterfowl fun Field Day

Event Summary

Learn the basics of waterfowl hunting while having lots of fun. Sessions will include dog training, calling, decoy setup, waterfowl identification, gun and blind safety, rules and regulations, and waterfowl ecology. Preregistered participants will receive a free duck call, DU hat, and much more. Partners include Ducks Unlimited, Iowa DNR, and Mid Iowa Retrievers. Preregistration encouraged. Fee $5. Ages 6-18 (youth must be accompanied by an adult).
