Event Summary

We will be creating a willow basket with woven handles, inserts, etc, approx 10-12” square. This simple process teaches the fundamentals of identifying & gathering willows, construction, and weaving as well as a variety of decorative techniques. No previous experience needed. Participants should dress for outdoor gathering of their willow materials. Participants will need to bring: a small hammer, sharp anvil pruning shears, and small wire cutters. Nails will be supplied. Pre-registration required; deadline is March 3. Fee: $45. Ages 12 and above are welcome.
