Event Summary

Help reduce the amount of waste entering our landfills by building a composter. Composting is a great way to turn ordinary food scraps into rich soil for you garden and flowerbeds. A naturalist will give a short presentation about composting before you begin constructing your composter from a 55 gallon plastic drum. All materials and tools provided. Ages 12+, children must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration required; deadline November 11. Fee: $25.
