Women in the Woods with Wine - Prairie Pondering

Tall
grass prairie once covered 85% of Iowa's landscape. Most of this unique habitat
has long since vanished; however, life on the prairie still lives today. During
the program, we will stroll through the prairie to learn about the unique
plants and animals that live there. Women in the Woods with Wine - is for women
ages 21+ who are interested in getting outside. Become more comfortable and
knowledgeable about the natural world, as you unwind and have fun.

DEADLINE: Register by Friday, August 14
COST: $15
AGES: 21+
Reservations are fully refundable prior to
registration deadline. After deadline, programs, camps and trips with a fee $50
or more, the registration may be refunded less the $10 cancellation fee if
space can be filled. If the reserved space is not filled, no refund can be
given. If an event, program, camp or trip is cancelled by PCC due to a natural
disaster or insufficient registration numbers, a full refund will be issued to
the person that made the original reservation.

be the health and well-being of the public and the staff. In response to the
ongoing development of COVID-19, Polk County Conservation programs will adhere
to social distancing, smaller group size, increased sanitation and facemasks
mandatory while indoors.
