Shooting Camp

Event Summary

This camp will introduce participants to the lifelong sport of target shooting. We'll learn the basics of archery, air rifle and even throw Atlatls. The experience continues with a visit to the Olofson Shooting Range where we'll practice our skills using .22 rifles and 20 gauge shotguns. All equipment, ammo, targets, ear and eye protection provided. All shooting activities led by certified trained range instructors.

Day 1 Meeting Location: Jester Park Outdoor Recreation & Wellness Center

Day 2 Meeting Location: Olofson Shooting Range, Polk City

REGISTRATION: Required

DEADLINE: Register by July 7

COST: $90

AGES: 12-16 year olds

Reservations are fully refundable prior to registration deadline. After deadline, programs, camps and trips with a fee $50 or more, the registration may be refunded less the $10 cancellation fee if space can be filled. If the reserved space is not filled, no refund can be given.   If an event, program, camp or trip is cancelled by PCC due to a natural disaster or insufficient registration numbers, a full refund will be issued to the person that made the original reservation.
