Older Wiser Livelier Seniors – Looking for an excuse to get out of house, make some new friends, enjoy a good meal and learn about the exciting world of nature? Then join us! These programs are held the first Tuesday of each month. The program starts at 11 a.m. An optional luncheon follows the program. The cost of the catered lunch is $8. Lunch will be beef stew and biscuits. Registration deadline is September 30.
Possum in your window well? Turtle hit by car? Oh, what to do, what to do? Call the Iowa Wildlife Center, of course! Find out how this new organization has already begun helping Iowans with wildlife-related issues, what decisions our staff, board and advisors face and how the proposed wildlife hospital and education facility near the Ledges State Park will be ready to help you through our wildlife rehabilitation, public education and skills training programs. Discover a new way of helping Iowa’s wildlife!
Flu shoots will be available from 10-11 at the Lodge prior to the program. Cost - $20. Medicare and most Medicare Advantage Plans cover the cost in full. Please bring your insurance cards with you. Must be 9 years of age or older
