Women in the Woods with Wine - Edible Outdoors

Event Summary

Ever wonder what those pesky weeds in your yard are good for? Come take a walk on the wild edibles side! You’ll learn to identify the common, edible plants around you and get a few new recipes to try at home! We will prepare and sample a variety of edible plants so come with a sense of adventure. This program is for adult women ages 21+ who want to become more comfortable and knowledgeable about the natural world by joining other women interested in getting outside.

Our top priority has been and will continue to be the health and well-being of the public and the staff. In response to the ongoing development of COVID-19, Polk County Conservation programs will adhere to social distancing, smaller group size, increased sanitation and mandatory facemasks.

Refund Policy:   

Reservations are fully refundable prior to registration deadline.  If an event, program, camp or trip is cancelled by PCC due to a natural disaster or insufficient registration numbers, a full refund will be issued to the person that made the original reservation.
