Iowa Geology and Fossils

We will learn the basics about rocks, how minerals form rocks, and how rocks are created and destroyed. We will then explore how animals can become fossils and what they can tell us about our geological past.  A large rock and fossil collection will be on display. Bring a sack lunch and stay for the Iowa Archeology program starting at noon.
