Looking for an excuse to get out of the house, make some new friends, enjoy a good meal and learn about the exciting world of nature? Then join us! These programs are held the first Tuesday of each month. The nature program will start at 11:00 a.m. at the Jester Park Lodge. An optional luncheon follows the program at noon in which pre-registration is required. The cost of the catered lunch is $9.00. Lunch will be: Oriental peppersteak, fried rice, salad, spring roll and dessert. Lunch registration is due the Friday before the program.

Many in central Iowa grew up hearing that Edith and Carl Weeks moved this entire house from England to a hilltop in Des Moines. Join Salisbury House & Gardens Curator, Leo Landis to discover the true stories about the home and the people who lived there from 1926 to 1953.
