Event Summary
"Hit the Trails" Riding Camp: For the more experienced rider- Campers must be able to tack their own horse, ride independently, and trot comfortably on a loose rein. Students will learn riding skills based on safe horsemanship, horse care, responsibility and multiple riding styles in a fun and energetic environment. All of our equestrian instruction is cumulative and applicable to each specific student. Our campers are in groups of like-minded individuals throughout the day. However, on the horse, their time and experiences are very much their own.
Horse and equipment are provided. Children should wear jeans and sturdy shoes. Campers should bring a Sack Lunch each day.
Cost for week-long camps is $225 per child.

This is a working camp: Campers are expected to participate in the daily chores and activities involved in horse care and responsibility. We instill a positive work ethic and sense of responsibility and accountability in our young riders that provides a direct gain in self esteem and confidence in overcoming obstacles, mastering communication skills and developing a great sense of teamwork.
