National Trails Day: Trails Workday and Camping

Event Summary

Join REI Co-op, Polk County Conservation, Polk County Conservation Corps and other natural surface trails enthusiasts for a day of trail maintenance, clearing overlook areas, re-surfacing trails and repairing erosion structures. Then kick up your feet and relax for an evening of food, drink and entertainment!

Free non-electric camping provided for registered volunteers Friday and Saturday night at *Campground #4. Registration is required for camping and Saturday evening events.  Saturday evening BBQ provided (breakfast and lunch are on your own).

Workday check-in at 9 a.m. on Saturday with first shift starting at 9:30 a.m. until 12 noon, and second shift from 1:30 p.m. until 4 p.m.

*Campsites will be blocked off, with preferences on first come basis.
