This site sits atop of the hill overlooking the campground and giving a birds-eye view of Saylorville Lake.  Mature oak and hickory trees provide afternoon shade.

  

We have a limited refund policy; however, if you need to change your reservation you have one opportunity to reschedule. Details regarding the advance notification requirement, change and cancellation fees can be found in the Facility Contract accepted at time of booking.

Fees

Camping rate: $20/per night

Capacity: maximum number of people allowed to camp at site is 6 people.

Reservations may be made up to ONE YEAR to date in advance.

Minimum stay required for advance reservations:

Daily - 1 night minimum;  

Holiday weekends - 3 night minimum

Hours of Operation & Seasons

Summer Hours (April 1-October 31): 6:30 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Winter Hours (November 1- March 31):Sunrise to sunset  

Upon entering park after hours, vehicle may be stopped by ranger requesting their campsite number and name of the party registered to the site.

April 1 through November 30

·        Reservations are required

 ·        Water and modern restroom/shower facilities are guaranteed to be open 4/15-10/15; however, facilities may open earlier and stay open later depending on weather conditions.    

Closures

April 15 - October 15

·         Water & modern restroom/shower facilities are open (may open earlier/stay open later weather depending) 

December 1- March 31

                    ·         Gravel roads in camp areas closed to vehicular traffic

·         Only hike-in tent camping is available at this time. Campers must self-register at the campground kiosk within one hour of setting up camp.
