Iowa River Kayak Trip

Event Summary

Join us as we kayak down the Iowa River in Central Iowa, one of the most scenic rivers in the state. We’ll set in the river at Iowa Falls and canoe nine miles downstream to the Eagle City access. Access points subject to change based on river conditions. Naturalists will guide participants down the river. Bring food and drink. Prior kayak experience is required.

Fee: $35; includes transportation and kayaks. Departure from the parking lot near Bonanza Family Restaurant at 5029 NE 14th St. in Des Moines. Minimum age 18. Registration deadline is June 18.
