Cooking in the Kitchen & Wind Energy 101: Eco-Bus Trip- CANCELLED due to COVID-19!

Visit a 2.5 megawatt wind turbine at Kirkwood College Energy production program.  Tour the teaching lab and see a wind turbine close up.  Experience five star hospitality at The Hotel at Kirkwood Center. Lunch will be prepared before our eyes in the auditorium-style cooking kitchen.  The multi-camera teaching demonstration kitchen allows the audience to interact with the head chef as lunch is prepared.  The next stop is the 19th century Brucemore Mansion and 26 acre estate.   Step on board with us for a day of discovery, fun and education.

Fee: $85 per person, includes transportation, meals and tour fees. Depart from Prairie Meadows NW parking lot 1, Altoona, IA.

Registration Deadline:  April 8

 Trip Cancellation Policy: 

Reservations are fully refundable prior to registration deadline. After deadline, registration may be refunded less the $10 cancellation fee if space can be filled. If the reserved space is not filled before the trip, no refund can be given.
