Rock, Planes and Prairies: Eco-Bus Trip Cancelled

Event Summary

Visit the original Freedom Rock and hear the history of the site from the artist, Bubba Smith. Tour the historical aviation museum and the Iowa Aviation Hall of Fame. Enjoy lunch at Hotel Greenfield followed by a tour of the restored Opera House. Stroll through the prairie and sculpture trail at the Henry A Wallace Country Life Center.  On the drive back to Des Moines, we will drive thru the VA Cemetery paying tribute to the veterans.  

Fee: $75 per person includes transportation, meals and tour fees.  Depart from Living History Farms SE parking lot, Urbandale, IA.

Registration Deadline: May 14

Trip Cancellation Policy: 

Reservations are fully refundable prior to registration deadline. After deadline, registration may be refunded less the $10 cancellation fee if space can be filled. If the reserved space is not filled before the trip, no refund can be given.
