Cruise Clear Lake aboard the lady of the Lake, an authentic sten-wheel paddleboat. Tour the 2.75 acre Central Gardens. Enjoy lunch in the historic Surf Ballroom. Listen to the step-on guide weave the story of water quality challenges and successes in the area. Cap the trip off with bargain hunting in the antique and speciality shops of downtown Clear Lake.

Fee:$65, includes transportation, meals and tour fees. Depart from Living History Farms parking Lot off of Hickman Road in Urbandale.
