Kayak Trip

Join experience naturalists as they lead you down the Des Moines River on a relaxing kayak trip. We will stop along on of the many rock/sand bars to eat lunch, explore and learn more about the geology of Iowa and the history of the river. Flora and fauna encountered along the way will also be discussed. Meet at Prospect Park. A 15 passenger van will shuttle you to Sycamore access to begin your adventure. All equipment and transportation provided. Bring a sack lunch in a water proof bag and a couple of filled water bottles. Wear quick dry clothing and wear sturdy water shoes, NO FLIP FLOPS.
