Event Summary

Step into the past with a tour of the Amish and Mennonite community in Van Buren County. Our first stop will be the Milton Creamery and then onto Dutchman’s Store which is filled with bulk foods, dried goods and is known as "A Quilter’s Paradise". Lunch will be at Keosauqua’s newest restaraunt followed by a tour of the historic Hotel Manning. Next stop is the Whispering Pines Winery with music by local musicians. We will drive thru Lacey-Keosauqua State Park on our way to visit Bentonsport and end our day at the National Historic Riverfront District of Bonaparte. Bring extra spending money on this trip. There will be many opportunities to support the local economy!
 
Fee: $60 includes transporation,lunch and all tour fees. Departure from Prairie Meadows Parking Lot 1, Altoona.
