Event Summary

Race with Polk County Conservation to the artistic and historical community of Newton and the Iowa Speedway. We will view the many unique sculptures throughout Newton, tour the Arboreteum and Botanical Garden, taste cheese at Maytag Dairy Farm, and tour the historic 100 year old courthouse. Lunch will be served in a suite overlooking the Iowa Speedway. Buckle your seatbelts, after lunch we will take a spin around the racetrack. Our final stop will be at the Jasper County Museum with a blacksmith barn and old steam engine.







Fee: $50 includes motorcoach transportation, lunch and tour fees. Depart from Prairie Meadows parking lot 1, Altoona.

Trip Cancellation Policy:  If the trip reservation is cancelled before the registration deadline the individual will be issued a full refund.  If the trip reservation is cancelled after the registration deadline, the individual will be refunded payment  only if the  assigned space is re-reserved by another person.  The refund shall be the amount of the trip less a $10 cancellation fee.  If assigned space is not re-reserved, no refund will be given. The trip reservation fee may also be transferred to another trip prior to the registration deadline providing the trip is not full.
