Summer Skills - River Float Trip - cancelled

Event Summary

If your youth attends either the summer skills Canoeing or Kayaking class, they are eligible for a guided kayak trip down one of Iowa’s rivers. Participants will learn how to “read a river”, navigate rapids, and gain an understanding of river ecology. Naturalists are experienced leaders and have completed Canoe/Kayak Association of America training. All equipment and transportation is provided. This trip is for youth ages 10-16. Participants must bring a sack lunch and a filled water bottle. Pre-registration required, cost is $30. Registration deadline June 22.
