Lavender & Loess Eco-Bus Trip Full! Add name to waiting list.


Event Summary

Back by popular demand!  Venture with us to the rolling Loess Hills. Breathe in the fresh relaxing scent of lavender fields at Iowa’s only Lavender Farm.  Taste artisan cheeses from fresh goat’s milk at the Honey Creek Creamery. View the scenic Loess Hills at the Harrison County Historical Village.   Enjoy lunch made with Aronia berries at Sawmill Hollow, Iowa’s first Aronia berry farm.  Try your skill at making art guided by the artist of Harvest studio.  Bring your comfortable walking shoes and curiosity for a fun filled day discovering eco-tourism and alternative agriculture. Bus departs from Living History Farms SE parking lot.
Registration deadline:   August 14

Age Limit 12 years and older.

Registration opens Friday, Feb. 14 at 8 a.m.

A waiting list will be started when the initial trip is full.  The waiting list gives and indication of interest and is utilized if initial trip participants cancel.

Trip Cancellation Policy:  If the trip reservation is cancelled before the registration deadline the individual will be issued a full refund.  If the trip reservation is cancelled after the registration deadline, the individual will be refunded payment only if the assigned space is re-reserved by another person.  The refund shall be the amount of the trip less a $10 cancellation fee.  If assigned space is not re-reserved, no refund will be given. The trip reservation fee may also be transferred to another trip prior to  the registration deadline providing the trip is not full.
