Decorah Discovery Overnight - Bus Trip Full! Add name to waiting list.

Event Summary

Explore scenic NE Iowa on a two day extravaganza of discovery!  We will stop at the World’s Smallest Church, the famous Bily Clocks Museum in Spillville, tour the oldest Czech church in the U.S. , eat lunch at the “Train Station “, visit the Decorah Fish hatchery and view the world famous Bald Eagles and nests. The Rubaiyat will serve supper made from seasonal ingredients and local agri-businesses.  Overnights accommodations at the Comfort Suites conveniently located next to the Trout Run Trail.  Our second day starts with a guided tour of the Versterheim Norwegian-American Museum. The Seed Savers Exchange will be our second stop and lunch will be served at the Winneshiek Wildberry Winery.   After a scenic drive through rolling hills of Decorah our last stop will be at Pinter’s Garden and Pumpkin Patch.  Flowers, Pumpkins and Chocolate a great way to end our trip!  Signup early this trip will fill fast!!  Bus departs from Prairie Meadows Parking lot.
Registration deadline:  September 9

Fee:  $170 per person double occupancy or $216 per person single occupancy.
NOTE:  Single occupancy registration need to call the office (515-323-5300) to pay the additional $46.00 fee.
Please list roommates name in comment section or put down single occupancy request.

A waiting list will be started when the initial trip is full.  The waiting list gives an indication of interest and is utilized if initial trip participants cancel.

Registration opens on Friday, Feb. 14 at 8a.m.

Trip Cancellation Policy:  If the trip reservation is cancelled before the registration deadline the individual will be issued a full refund.  If the trip reservation is cancelled after the registration deadline, the individual will be refunded payment only if the assigned space is re-reserved by another person.  The refund shall be the amount of the trip less a $10 cancellation fee.  If assigned space is not re-reserved, no refund will be given. The trip reservation fee may also be transferred to another trip prior to  the registration deadline providing the trip is not full.
