Cross-Country Skiing

Event Summary

Learn the basics of cross-country skiing and practice your skills on the lakeshore trail. Proper clothing, equipment, and skiing techniques will be discussed before we practice our new skills on the trails. This class is co-sponsored by West Des Moines Parks and Recreation. Class will be canceled without snow. Pre-registration required; deadline is January 20. Smallest shoe size available is a European size 36 (US women's 6 or men's 4 1/2). Fee: $10 (includes skis, boots, and poles).

When registering, leave your shoe size in the comment section, European size is best.  PLEASE NOTE:  We are out of Women's shoe size 6, 7, 8, 9 and men's size 7, 8, 12 and 13.
