Event Summary
Start the day
with a tour of a local Alpaca Farm & Fiber Mill in central Iowa. Our
journey will then take us to ISU BioCentury Research Farm. Educators will share
how this unique facility studies biomass production. Reiman Gardens will be our luncheon stop with
time to tour the beautiful gardens and butterfly exhibit. Hickory Park will be
catering our lunch. Following lunch we
will enjoy a chocolate treat at Chocolaterie Stam. Our final stop will be at DellaViti an unique
wine tasting shop in Ames. We will do a
driving tour around ISU campus on our way out of town.
Fee: $70/person; includes motorcoach
transportation lunch and tour fees. Departing from Carmike Theatre Parking lot, 533 Stoney Creek Court,
Johnston (far west corner of lot). Registration deadline is June 4.
Trip
Cancellation Policy:
If the trip reservation is cancelled before the registration
deadline the individual will be issued a full refund. If the trip reservation is cancelled after the registration deadline, the
individual will be refunded payment
only if the
assigned space is re-reserved by another person. The refund shall be the
amount of the trip less a
$10 cancellation fee. If assigned space
is not re-reserved, no refund will be given.
The trip reservation fee may also be transferred
to another trip prior to
the registration deadline providing the trip is not full.
